Responsibility to write features, news stories, attend association functions, and advertising-supported editorial features for regional construction industry publication serving the greater Washington D.C. area, encompassing D.C. and the Northern Virginia and Maryland suburbs. Compensation on contract basis; we’ll pay ‘per page’ for news and advertorial sections, with additional compensation where appropriate for more challenging assignments. You should have your own transportation (many businesses are located in the suburbs), digital camera, and be able to work with very little supervision. You will need to be available some daytime business hours and also be able to attend evening association meetings in greater Washington area (parking, meeting fees, and other direct expenses are at our expense).
